When a shift falls through, the next caregiver is already saying yes.

The problem
This is what filling a call-offactually looks like.
One scheduler. Forty minutes of phone tag. Three voicemails. One yes that turns into a no-show.

Scheduler's time back
≈ 43 minutes
Every shift you fill by hand is an hour your scheduler doesn't spend on residents.
How it works
Three screens. One filled shift.
From the moment your scheduler posts a shift to the moment a verified caregiver clocks in — this is what the whole system looks like.

Under-20-minute average fill time
CareRelay dispatches your shift to multiple verified caregivers at once. The first qualified yes wins — usually before the scheduler finishes their coffee.
LARA
Primary-sourced
Credentials verified every dispatch
We primary-source nursing licenses from Michigan LARA on every shift. Expired or lapsed = not eligible. Full stop.
A ready pool, not a roster you build
You don't recruit, call around, or maintain a caregiver list. CareRelay keeps a vetted pool of CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and Med Techs on standby.

Every offer and response, logged
You see who was offered the shift, who accepted, who clocked in, and when. Real attendance evidence when surveyors ask.
“We used to spend the first hour of every call-off phoning our list. Now a shift goes out the door in two minutes and someone accepts before the scheduler pours coffee.”

01Do we need to bring our own caregivers?
No. CareRelay maintains a pre-verified pool of caregivers — CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and Med Techs — who are licensed, background-checked, and ready to accept shifts. When you post an open shift, we dispatch it to our pool automatically. You never have to recruit, vet, or maintain a caregiver list yourself.02What credentialing do you verify before a caregiver is dispatched?
Every caregiver in our pool has their nursing license primary-sourced through Michigan LARA, a passed background check, and documented work eligibility on file. Credentials are re-verified on a rolling schedule so expired licenses never get offered a shift.03How do caregivers get paid — are they our employees?
No payroll burden on your side. CareRelay caregivers are independent contractors engaged through our platform. For each shift a caregiver accepts, they work under a per-shift service engagement. Your facility pays a single contracted rate per filled shift; we handle the caregiver side.04Do we need to install anything?
No. Facilities post shifts from a web dashboard. Caregivers receive shift offers and accept them over SMS. No mobile app rollout required on either side.05What does a pilot look like?
Pilots run 2–4 weeks, focused on one location and your hardest-to-fill roles. We co-define success metrics up front (typically fill rate, time-to-fill, and no-show trend). If we don't move the needle, you stop.06Where are you operating?
CareRelay is based in Michigan and currently running Phase 0 pilots with a small set of assisted living homes in the state.
Your next call-offdoesn't have to feel like a fire drill.
- 2–4 week pilot, one location
- No software to install on day one
- Co-defined success metrics — if we don't move the needle, you stop
